The Harbourside Market is looking for the next local artist to animate our 30 foot shipping container in Bristol City Centre.
The unit sits in a prominent spot on Anchor Road, just behind the Watershed Cinema. This is an exciting opportunity for both established and up-and-coming artists to reach new audiences and create a large scale piece in the city centre.
Over the last six months, the unit has featured the work of Bristolian artist Andrew Burns-Colwill (Andi’s Art, as seen at Upfest). Attracting plenty of attention online and in person, it’s been a welcome addition to Bristol, and we’re excited to see what the next artist will bring to the landscape.
There’s space to paint onsite, and the cost of materials is covered. At the end of the six months display, you’ll take your art home.
If this sounds like your kind of thing, get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org. Send us some biographical information and a few samples of your previous work, and let’s get started!
