What was the first record you ever bought?
I honestly can’t remember the first album I bought for myself. Though I do remember buying Rick Astley’s album for my little brother – he was obsessed.
What kind of music do you like to play?
I’m into all sorts. At the Market, and non-club environments I love to play Funk, Soul, Broken Beat, Blues, Reggae and general dusty grooves.
Your ultimate Desert Island tracks?
This changes on a daily basis. Today it’s Gil Scott Heron ‘Legend in his own mind’ and Sebastian Tellier ‘La Ritournelle’.
If you were a wrestler, what would your intro song be?
I’m a lover not a fighter so if have to go with War ‘Why can’t we be friends’. Because sometimes all you need is a hug.
